TAKE NEEDS YOUR FINANCIAL DONATIONS NOW MORE THAN EVER

We are taking a huge leap of faith in the community’s continued financial support for a major change in our operating expenses!

• The Ankeny Klothing Exchange, Inc. (TAKE) is a non-profit organization that served our community at the Neveln Center for almost 30 years and another 3 years on NE Grant St.
• TAKE relies solely on donations to provide families in need with free gently used and new clothing, shoes, linens, and small household items. No items are ever purchased, nor does TAKE ever charge for items.
• We are entirely volunteer run—we have no paid staff or board members.

 

We took a huge leap of faith in the community’s financial support for a major step.  Our Board and volunteers are very excited about the purchase of this building on E. First Street that provided TAKE with a permanent home!  In looking at all available rental properties, It decided that this purchase was far more cost effective for TAKE as a non-profit than leasing at current rents around town!
